Free Art of Scenes From the Cajun Christmas Tales

Welcome to the Teachers’ Resources Section of the "Cajun Christmas Tales". Here we have posted pictures from the "Boudreaux the Bright Red Crawfish" story that you can download for children to color. As each image is colored, you will discover that the illustrations tell the whole story. In addition, we have included Lesson Plans for your use in planning class projects.

Later, we plan to add the images in our Books section as full colored illustrations so you will be able to see how your colors compare to those of Aunt Becky, our artist.

Please feel free to reproduce the coloring pictures and send copies to your friends (pictures may not be sold).

At a future date, we will post your pictures to the free art section of our web site. You will be able to find your picture by clicking on the link “Aunt Becky’s Studio” on the bottom of this page. There you will find a list of the letters of the alphabet. Click on the first letter of your last name and a list of names will appear in alphabetical order. Find your name, click on it and your picture will appear with some comments from Aunt Becky.

From time to time, names will be randomly selected from all those who submitted a picture and the winners will receive an artist’s print of that picture autographed by Aunt Becky.

(Please submit only hand colored or hand painted renditions of the pictures that are currently available on the “Free Art” section of our web site. Only one of each picture per child please.)
